Tallberg House, a seven-story factory building, was completed in 1938 for Ab Julius Tallberg Ltd. It is located in the old industrial landscape of Salmisaari in Helsinki, by the sea.
The light green, smooth-surfaced house stands out prominently amid the cluster of brick facades. The entire area holds significant historical and architectural value.
The design of Tallberg House for Pool was inspired by the ruggedness of industrial properties and functionalism. Inspiration was particularly drawn from Le Corbusier’s designed structures.
