Workplace development for functional and comfortable office spaces in Kamppi was designed and executed by Bolder for NEOT.

NEOT, a significant fuel procurement company, sought new office premises in Helsinki to meet the needs of its growing workforce. The chosen location was the historic former State Council Printing House, offering unique architectural character and a central location that perfectly aligned with NEOT’s requirements. Bolder was responsible for designing and executing the transformation of approximately 800 m² of space, blending the building’s rich history with modern functionality.

The design drew inspiration from the industrial aesthetics of the 1950s, combining industrial loft and cozy vintage themes in the interior. Elements like textile tiles mimicking concrete surfaces added a raw edge, while warm tones and mid-century-inspired furniture created a cozy and inviting workplace for the staff.

Employee well-being and sustainability were central to the project. Bolder conducted an inclusive design process, incorporating NEOT employees’ wishes and needs through a survey to ensure the outcome met user expectations. Sustainability was a strong focus, with the project piloting the measurement of the carbon footprint of tenant improvements, adding environmental value to the initiative.

The result is a functionally efficient and carefully designed office space that reflects NEOT’s values and provides an inspiring and comfortable working environment for the company’s team.
