Bolder acted as a design and project management partner in Louhintahiekka Oy’s office renovation – with the aim of building premises that reflect the company’s identity and support the smooth running of everyday work.

Louhintahiekka is a Finnish infrastructure builder that has been implementing durable earth and rock structures for over 50 years. The company is known for its demanding contracts and comprehensive infrastructure and concrete construction services. The recently renewed brand highlights more clearly the commitment to building a vibrant and sustainable environment.

The brand renewal also created a need to update the premises. The goal was to create a work environment that supports everyday life and a sense of community – and at the same time reflects the company’s visual identity and values. The spatial design sought timelessness, down-to-earth aesthetics and a hotel-like atmosphere.

The new premises were selected from the top floors of Pitsku Tower, offering stunning views and 360m² of workstation areas, meeting rooms, break rooms and a shared lounge.

The inspiration came from Louhintahiekka’s own industry: the color scheme is based on soil materials and Finnish landscapes. The interior combines rugged industrial elements, warm wood surfaces and soft textiles. The furniture was a combination of new and previously used – supporting the principles of sustainable construction.

The end result was a clear, inviting and rough work environment that looks and feels like Louhintahiekka.
