Functional and inviting new premises that reflect the Norrin spirit, complete with their own café and terrace.
Norrin wanted premises that reflect the company’s character – intelligence, creativity and community. Norrin enables its customers to run smart business with comprehensive solutions that cover the entire information system, which is why the space also had to support concentration, collaboration and growth.
As the business expanded, Norrin moved from Vuorikatu to new, approximately 1100+ m² premises Kluuvi in Helsinki, in the middle of the city and close to excellent services.
The new work environment is efficiently dimensioned and flexible, enabling a wide range of working methods and the growth of teams in the future. The heart of the new working environment is a cosy staff café that opens onto its own terrace.
Bolder acted as an interior architect, architect and principal designer in the project. The design included space fittings, lighting design, main material and colour specifications, design of fixtures and the main kitchen, as well as terrace design and building permit process.
The material world is clear and technologically modern, but warm – a combination of natural materials and understated high-tech aesthetics. The lighting and acoustics were designed to support concentration and collaboration, and the common areas are dynamically paced according to the different stages of the working day.
The result was a time-tested work environment that supports both concentration and teamwork – just as Norrin’s business combines the best of people and technology.
Cooperation with the design team was excellent from the beginning. Our wishes were listened to carefully, and the end result is exactly what we hoped for – a functional, comfortable space that looks like us, where it is easy to be and work together.
Our new premises have received a lot of praise from the staff. The brightness and spaciousness support both concentration and working together. We have places for focused work, teamwork and relaxed encounters. It has been a pleasure to see how people have quickly embraced the space – it is genuinely nice to come to the office!
